Updates for March and April

My skin allergies returned with the warm weather in April and the constant rain in March gave me so many sinus headaches that I didn't make much progress. Hopefully this month I will move on to a new page of the pattern.

Progress Photos

Here is my progress after 2 hours and then at the end of the month after approximately 10 hours.

Tonight I stitched for 2 hours since I decided to work on Kitty Cottage yesterday. I had a nice time. I watched I'm a Celebrity and The Apprentice while stitching. Outside it has started snowing.

I really wonder how much I can get done stitching 2 hours a week. That would be 104 hours in a year.

This week I had a sinus headache from the wind on Wednesday. I stitched for a while in the afternoon when I was feeling better but only for about an hour. Then later I stitched for another 40 minutes or so when I couldn't sleep. I need to put in another 20 minutes or so to have a full 2 hours stitching time on it this week.

I think it's going to be important to put in the 2 hours each week to see progress. There isn't much at this point in the pattern that you could work on as a goal. It's just a mish-mash of green leaves and yellow blossoms that are not distinct so I can't say I'll finish this flower or this bird like I can with other projects.

Edited to add I went back and worked on it while watching Scrubs and put in the 20 minutes plus some.

I wasn't going to photograph this but since I went ahead and did so for the SBQ I might as well put a copy here.

Started!

I put the first couple of hours in on Tuesday while watching Scrubs episodes. At the end of the day it looks like I've barely started. I think I definitely want to put in at least 8 hours a month on this so I see some progress. I couldn't work on it Wednesday because I have to finish my winter house exchange but I'm looking forward to next week.
